Covideyan Times
In these troubled covideyan times when a sure cure is still a dream.
Scientist and doctors baffled by this tiny minuscule.
I pray that some of the old sayings still stand the test of time.
One being "this too shall pass".
The other, when a pendulum swings too far in one direction it always corrects itself in time.
With these sayings I pass my day seeing anxiety in the eyes of masked faces during my morning walk.
Lipstick sales are low, and so too makeup kits, for half covered faces ask not for these.
Living in a world shaped in such a manner that it cannot be turned upside down, yet for once things seem topsy turvy.
Yet one thing called hope which asks for nothing but a little fate peeps from yonder reminding us a rainbow however far it arc's bends earthwards in the end.
